In May, Center for Countering Disinformation, in cooperation with the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, held an online lecture course “This is the course: disinFAKEtion of your information space”, which was attended by more than 800 people.
After listening to five lectures of the course, the students received answers to the following questions: how propaganda affects personal information bubbles, whether we can spot fakes, how the media manipulate people’s opinions, why we react to disinformation, and how we can protect ourselves from information aggression.
The knowledge and practical skills acquired by the students during the course will have a positive impact on their resistance to russian propaganda, which is especially important in the period of large-scale information aggression against the Ukrainian information space and the information security system of Ukraine.
