The CCD and DIU continue to expose kremlin mouthpieces
The Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC of Ukraine, together with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, continue to publish information on russian figures involved in the information war against Ukraine.
▫️Information on six russian public figures who support russia’s armed aggression, spread destructive narratives and contribute to the technological support of the enemy has been added to the “kremlin mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal.
Among the new individuals featured in the section:
▫️sergey tovkach — a developer of unmanned systems and author of the Telegram channel “UAV Developer.” He publishes technical information on the use of UAVs against Ukraine, spreads anti-Ukrainian rhetoric and organizes fundraising campaigns to support the occupiers.
▫️roman golovanov — a propagandist, host on the “spas” and “solovyov live” TV channels and a correspondent for “komsomolskaya pravda.” He spreads religious disinformation and fakes about the alleged “persecution of the Church” in Ukraine.
▫️vladimir kuznetsov (“vovan”) and alexey stolyarov (“lexus”) — russian pranksters and entertainers, creators of the pro-kremlin “Vovan and Lexus” channel. They carry out provocations against foreign politicians, seek to discredit Ukraine internationally and raise funds for the so-called “special military operation.”
The “kremlin mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal currently contains information on nearly 200 representatives of russia’s propaganda apparatus.
Work to update the list of “kremlin mouthpieces” continues. We call for stronger sanctions against russian propagandists and for any cooperation with them to be prevented.
