A fake about the shooting of Ukrainian families by border guards
russian propaganda is spreading a fake video under the name of the human rights organization Human Rights Watch. It claims that Ukrainian men are allegedly using women and children as “human shields” while attempting to cross the border via the Tisza River, expecting that border guards will not shoot at families.
Furthermore, the authors of the fabrication claim that Ukrainian border guards supposedly shoot entire families anyway, and that “76 families” have allegedly died this way since the beginning of the year.
In reality, Human Rights Watch has not published any such statements or reports. Propaganda actors traditionally mimic the style of reputable international organizations to give their fabrications a veneer of credibility. No real sources confirming the provided statistics exist.
