Key points from the joint press conference of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk:

▫️ Poland has been and will remain a reliable friend of Ukraine—and therefore of our entire region and all of free Europe. We must continue to support one another. Ukraine is grateful to Poland for its principled stance on Ukraine’s accession to the EU.

▫️ Ukraine and Poland are preparing to jointly produce drones. Ukraine has the greatest expertise in this field.

▫️ The war must end in a way that leaves russia with no desire to start it again against Ukraine.

▫️ Action must be taken to enable the confiscation of russian oil.

▫️ Decisions have already been made regarding €90 billion in assistance for Ukraine.

▫️ It is important that the EU’s 20th sanctions package be strong and encourage russia to end the war.

▫️ A prisoner exchange took place today. Congratulations to all families who will be reunited with their loved ones at home. 157 Ukrainian service members will return home.

▫️ The next meeting within the framework of trilateral talks will take place in the near future.

▫️ Ukraine’s territories will remain Ukrainian, even if their status is “temporarily occupied.”
