Earlier, France had already denied visas to representatives of the russian media outlet Izvestia; Greece shut down RIA Novosti’s correspondent office; and Germany banned the operations of the russian Channel One. russian propaganda outlets have also faced restrictions in Azerbaijan, Moldova, and other countries.
