Fake about alleged “looting” by AFU in Donetsk Oblast
russian propaganda is spreading another fake video allegedly showing a soldier from Ukraine’s 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade claiming that wounded personnel are not being evacuated from Donetsk region because the vehicles are supposedly filled with “looted” property from civilians.
In reality, the video shows clear signs of fabrication. The identity of the “soldier” or his supposed “comrades” cannot be verified, nor can the location of the events. The audio appears to be artificially added, and the video quality is deliberately poor.
◽️ The content reflects a typical narrative pushed by russian propaganda about AFU. The Center has repeatedly exposed similar fakes about alleged “atrocities” and “looting” by Ukrainian soldiers in Donbas.
By spreading such disinformation, russian propaganda aims to discredit Ukraine’s Defense Forces, erode public trust in Ukrainian defenders, and distract from the numerous war crimes committed by russian army in Ukraine.
