This all unfolds against the backdrop of recent statements by the russian political leadership about their readiness for peace negotiations and categorical denials of russia’s plans to attack NATO countries. While feigning “commitment to peace,” russia has, in fact, long been waging information and cyber warfare on NATO territory, and more recently, sabotage as well.
