New information attack by Russia on the SSU: enemy has created a fake English-language account called “MI6”
russian actors have created a fake YouTube account impersonating the UK’s Secret Intelligence Service, commonly known as MI6. The channel features an English-language video aimed at discrediting the leadership of Ukraine’s Security Service (SSU).
The account uses the MI6 logo but has no connection to the actual agency. It is not verified (no verification checkmark) and was created on May 29, 2025. The discrediting video is the only upload on the channel and is being actively promoted by russian propaganda outlets.
