Children in Russia are being trained for war even in labour training classes
Military training is increasingly being implemented in russian schools. Recently, a UAV manual for 8th–9th grades, which appeared last year, was granted the status of a mandatory textbook for use in labor lessons.
▫️The introduction of a compulsory school course on UAVs is part of the “personnel for unmanned aerial systems” program, launched in September last year. The project provides continuous training of specialists in the development, production, and operation of UAVs and is part of a large-scale russian ideological campaign in secondary education, as previously reported by the Center.
The textbook for teaching children to operate drones is presented under the guise of UAV use in civilian sectors. In reality, its main purpose is to prepare new potential “contract soldiers” who, having acquired the necessary skills for modern warfare, will be able to leave school and go to the front.
