This is a typical example of a russian information operation aimed at demonizing the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eyes of residents of frontline settlements. russia seeks to sow fear and distrust, forcing people to avoid any communication with Ukrainian troops, even when it concerns evacuation or humanitarian aid.
With such lies, russia attempts to disrupt the evacuation of civilians from dangerous areas near the frontline. If people remain in the combat zone, russia can use them as human shields to hinder Ukrainian military operations.
