Fake about the alleged destruction of “18–24” contract soldiers in the kursk region
Information about alleged mass casualties among Ukrainian soldiers recruited under the ‘18–24 Contract’ program in the kursk region is fake.
Enemy Telegram channels are spreading a series of posts claiming the “complete elimination” of several groups of supposedly 18–24-year-old Ukrainian soldiers from the 92nd Assault Brigade of the AFU in the kursk region, alleging that after minimal training, they are “immediately dying on the battlefield.”
After verifying the information with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Center reports that the newly enlisted service members under the ‘18–24 Contract’ are still undergoing training and that the brigade in question is not carrying out any tasks in that direction.
Therefore, the information being spread by ru-propagandists is fake.
Such fakes are part of a broader information campaign by russia aimed at discrediting the mobilization process and the ‘18–24 Contract’ program.
ru-propagandists have repeatedly spread disinformation about the ‘18–24’ program, which the Center has previously debunked.
