Information attack by Russian propaganda against Pokrovsk district residents
Russian propaganda continues its campaign to discredit Ukrainian soldiers operating in the Pokrovsk area. Specifically, new fake stories are being spread about “mass killings of civilians.”
Enemy propagandists are falsely claiming that Ukrainian soldiers are killing civilians who are fleeing toward Russian positions in search of safety.
The spread of these lies is part of the Russian military strategy in the Pokrovsk area. Russia is trying to turn the local population against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This could allow Russian forces to use the residents of the Pokrovsk region as a “human shield”.
