How Kremlin left Russians without vital medicine
Sanctions and the worsening economic situation have left Russians without one of the most basic yet essential medical supplies—saline. It has long been unavailable in pharmacies, and hospitals face weeks of delays for procedures requiring saline.
Due to rising production and logistics costs and a lack of equipment caused by Western sanctions, pharmaceutical companies are ceasing production of this inexpensive product, unable to operate at a loss under current conditions. This is just one example. Doctors across various regions of the Russian Federation are reporting critical shortages of essential medications, including imported ones. The availability of medicines in pharmacies has dropped by at least 20% since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.
Meanwhile, propaganda insists there are no shortages, and the government, instead of addressing the issue, seeks drastic and ineffective measures. Once again, the health of Russians is being jeopardized by the aggressive ambitions of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.
