Fake United24 Media video claims Ukrainian soldiers poisoned by food from kursk stores
russian sources are spreading a video that falsely claims to be from the Ukrainian media outlet United24 Media, alleging that intercepted radio communications reveal a russian commander instructing his soldiers to eat only the food they brought with them.
The video goes on to allege that Ukrainian soldiers fighting in the kursk region have suffered fatal poisonings after supposedly consuming stolen products from local supermarkets.
United24 Media said that this is a fake and that they did not publish any such video.
By creating these fake stories, russian propagandists are attempting to discredit Ukrainian soldiers involved in operations in the kursk region by falsely accusing them of crimes they did not commit. Unlike russian troops, Ukrainian soldiers do not engage in looting and treat the local population with respect.
