Fake: ru-propagandists forged a video of a Ukrainian TV channel
⚡️ russian propaganda outlets are circulating a manipulated video in which a sign language interpreter during the broadcast of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address on the Kyiv24 TV channel allegedly shows a sign reading “You are being lied to.”
✅ In reality, the video is a fake created using artificial intelligence and video editing. russian propaganda used an authentic recording of the TV broadcast but fully fabricated the interpreter’s movements and added the sign, which was not present in the original footage. The TV channel has officially refuted this claim.
‼️ This fake is part of a systematic enemy campaign to discredit Ukraine’s top leadership. By using deepfake technology, the aggressor state is attempting to artificially create an illusion of “internal resistance” in order to destabilize Ukrainian society.
