Why the enemy accuses the AFU of using chemical weapons
The enemy propaganda is actively spreading another statement by the russian defense ministry accusing the Ukrainian Defense Forces of using toxic substances against the russian military.
In addition, the enemy’s propaganda resources are spreading information about the alleged intention of the Ukrainian military to use chemical warfare gases, including the banned lewisite, in the Kharkiv sector in the near future.
This is not the first time the enemy has resorted to such disinformation attacks. In this way, it is trying to shift attention away from the war crimes of russian troops in Kharkiv region and justify russia’s terror against the civilian population of Ukraine.
Ukraine complies with the terms of the Chemical Weapons Convention. At the same time, it is the russian federation that is recognized as a violator of this Convention.
