russian propaganda launches campaign to discredit NATO summit

Enemy propaganda has launched a campaign to discredit the upcoming NATO summit scheduled for July 9-11, aiming to undermine Ukrainians’ trust in the Alliance.

As part of the campaign, the following disinformation messages are being disseminated primarily through anonymous Telegram channels:

▫️ “Ukraine will not receive weapons as a result of the summit”;
▫️ “NATO plans to “abandon” Ukraine”
▫️ “The agreements on security guarantees that will be concluded during the summit will not bring any benefit to Ukraine”;
▫️ “The summit will be a failure for Kyiv”.

By promoting these manipulations, the enemy aims to discredit Ukraine’s cooperation with NATO, sow disbelief, and demoralize Ukrainian society. This way, russia seeks to facilitate achieving its military goals in Ukraine.

In reality, for more than 2.5 years since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, NATO has consistently supported our country and supplied our military with weapons to repel russian aggression.
