russian propaganda continues campaign to justify terror in Kharkiv region
russian propaganda outlets continue to spread information about the supposed activation of “sleeper agents of the GUR” in the border areas of the Kharkiv region.
In particular, a statement by Yevhen Lysniak, a representative of the occupation “authorities,” is being circulated, claiming that Ukraine’s special services are supposedly forming a “network of agents” in the Vovchansk district who will be engaged in “subversive activities.” According to him, these agents are allegedly both women and men.
The Center has previously reported that the enemy is urging the russian army to identify “representatives of the Ukrainian underground,” who may include women, the elderly, and teenagers.
In this way, the enemy is actually encouraging the russian armed forces to commit crimes against the civilian population and justifying terror in the occupied territories of the Kharkiv region. Currently, Ukrainian law enforcement officers are recording instances of abductions and shootings of civilians by russians in Vovchansk.
