War criminals are the new elite of Russia: Vladislav Golovin
Vladislav Golovin is a Russian serviceman known by his call sign “String.” He participated in the battle for Mariupol, which resulted in significant damage to the city and thousands of its residents being killed.
In 2020, he received a military education and joined the Russian army. He participated in a mission of Russian troops in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
During the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops in the spring of 2022, Golovin, who commanded a platoon of the 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, was featured in a propaganda report from Mariupol. He was remembered by the audience for fighting with a red backpack behind his back. Subsequently, one of the Russian singers dedicated a song to the occupier, and his backpack became one of the exhibits of the Museum of the Russian Armed Forces in Moscow.
The media reported that Golovin had hit a mine during the battles for Mariupol and lost his leg. In the fall of 2022, he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
Recently, as a finalist in the Kremlin’s “Time of Heroes” personnel program, he joined the supreme council of the ruling United Russia party. He teaches at the Ryazan Higher Airborne School and is involved in the development of the propaganda computer game “Detachment 22: ZOV” dedicated to the war against Ukraine.
