Fake about “crimes committed by “Khartiia” soldiers in the Kharkiv region”
ru-propaganda continues to spread fake “criminal stories” allegedly involving Ukrainian soldiers. This time, hostile sources claim that fighters of the 13th National Guard Brigade “Khartia” committed sexual violence against a teenager in Kharkiv.
▫️ To “confirm” this, a screenshot of a Ukrainian news article is shown, but the headline has been falsified. Russian fake creators replaced the word “perpetrators” with “soldiers” in the headline and fabricated their own details about the crime.
In fact, the Kharkiv police reported the detention of two local residents, aged 15 and 20, who committed a crime against a 14-year-old boy. None of the detainees are servicemen. There is no mention of their involvement with the “Khartia” brigade or other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Ukrainian media also do not report this.
This is a classic example of propaganda aimed at discrediting and undermining trust in Ukrainian soldiers. The Center has repeatedly debunked pseudo-criminal fabrications allegedly involving Ukrainian military personnel.
