The occupiers lie again about the “atrocities of the AFU” in the Kherson region
russian media outlets are actively spreading statements by the head of the occupation administration of the Kherson region, volodymyr saldo, accusing Ukrainian forces of allegedly launching targeted drone strikes on civilians in the region.
▫️ Moreover, according to the so-called “gauleiter,” these strikes supposedly “intensify every time active negotiations between Ukraine and russia take place.”
In reality, such claims are part of a targeted russian disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting Ukraine’s Defense Forces. By spreading fakes about alleged “deliberate strikes on civilians,” russian propaganda once again attempts to provoke a rift between the military and civilians in Ukraine and to divert attention from the systematic crimes committed by russian troops against the civilian population.
Additionally, by drawing parallels with the negotiation process, russian propagandists are trying to shift the responsibility for prolonging the war onto Ukraine — even though it is the russian side that continues to reject the ceasefire proposals Ukraine has been putting forward since March of this year.
