Russia shows that mobilized residents of TOT is just expendable resource
In the occupied territories, men mobilized into the Russian army are widely complaining about the lack of payments promised by Russian authorities, while relatives of those killed in the war are unable to claim compensation. Instead of financial support, they receive only medals. Meanwhile, propaganda boasts about “white Ladas” being given to families of fallen soldiers in Russia.
This situation underscores that residents of the occupied territories are seen as expendable material by Russia. Despite Moscow’s rhetoric about “returning to their native harbor,” the reality is that Russia will never regard them as “its own,” cynically exploiting them for its own purposes.
