ru-propaganda justifies its war crime in Sumy on Palm Sunday
On Palm Sunday, russian forces launched missile strikes on the central part of the city of Sumy. According to local authorities, civilians were killed. As usual, enemy propaganda is spreading false claims about a supposed strike on a “military target” and a “provocation by Kyiv.”
By spreading such fakes, the enemy is attempting to justify its terrorist act against the peaceful population of Sumy.
As stated by Andrii Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council and officer of the Defense Forces, the russians deliberately intended to kill as many civilians as possible. Today’s strike occurred after putin’s meeting with the U.S. special representative in moscow. russia has always used such terrorist acts as a means of pressure during any negotiations.
Earlier, russians killed civilians and children in Kryvyi Rih following a visit by putin’s representative to Washington.
