Representative of Putin’s administration makes another PR tour to the TOT
Sergey Kiriyenko, the first deputy chief of staff of Russia’s presidential administration, organized another propaganda trip to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine during the New Year holidays.
This time, Kiriyenko, accompanied by local puppet officials, visited a hospital, attended a holiday service, and met with military personnel and local children. As part of the visit, a staged propaganda event was held in Avdiivka, where residents of a damaged building were filmed praising the occupation regime against a backdrop of surrounding ruins. Propaganda outlets heavily promoted these events, highlighting Kiriyenko’s presence and portraying it as significant during the holidays.
The goal of these propaganda tours is to create the illusion that the Kremlin cares about the residents of the occupied territories and that the situation is under its direct and careful control.
