Propaganda instead of water: humanitarian crisis in the tot of donetsk deepens
In the occupied city of Yenakiieve, water supply has been completely cut off to some densely populated areas due to the depletion of the reservoir. The local water utility reported that it cannot service these areas. Meanwhile, water delivery by tanker trucks is either nonexistent or irregular.
▫️ The situation has escalated to the point where residents have taken to the streets in protest. In response, the collaborator of occupied Donetsk, denis pushilin, limited himself to the usual tactic of blaming local officials without offering any solutions.
▫️ Instead, the occupiers continue to pump people with propaganda — boasting that they have installed a russian flag covering 1,500 m² in the city and have launched pro-kremlin radio station sputnik.
Yenakiieve is far from the only occupied city facing a catastrophic water shortage. Similar issues are present in Donetsk, Mariupol, Makiyivka, and others. This situation clearly illustrates the true nature of the so-called “russian world” — the occupiers cover their indifference to the fate of the residents of the temporarily occupied territories with propaganda, while only caring about resources and territories.
