New wave of seizures of Ukrainian property continues in the TOT
In temporarily occupied Luhansk, a so-called “real estate inventory” has begun, which is actually a cover for a large-scale raider seizure of Ukrainian housing. The occupiers check documents, “discover” allegedly unregistered property, and prepare for mass cleanouts of apartments and houses.
▫️Under the guise of preparing to transfer housing to orphans and large families, the apartments are actually handed over to collaborators, militants, and settlers from russia. To facilitate this, “Luganskgaz” raids have started in the so-called “lpr” to check gas meters. Residents are forced to let inspectors in under threat of gas disconnection.
▫️Similar schemes are taking place in other temporarily occupied territories, notably in Zaporizhzhia region, where kremlin activists from the “movement of the first” redistribute the property of Ukrainians who fled the occupied territories in favor of occupiers and collaborators.
This is part of kremlin’s systematic policy of seizing Ukrainian property and putting pressure on the population. Without a russian passport or loyalty — no housing, no land. Earlier, the Center reported on occupiers’ plans to conduct a registry of agricultural lands using outdated data to legalize raiding.
