Internal information manipulations: YouTube project “LANA TUT!”

The YouTube project “LANA TUT!” is hosted by Lana Shevchuk, who previously worked for the Ukrainian TV channels NewsOne and NASH, both of which were linked to suspected high treasoner Yevhen Muraiev.

▪️ The project often features guests who echo key Russian propaganda narratives, such as “the war in Ukraine started because of its desire to join NATO” and “Ukraine is acting under Western pressure and provoking Russia.”

▪️ The project publishes biased information about the situation in Ukraine, which is widely disseminated through emotional manipulation and may raise doubts about official data and sources of dissemination.

At the same time, its rhetoric about Russia is intentionally vague, using a soft tone and ambiguous language that may cause audiences to question whether Russia should be viewed as an enemy.

The Center previously reported on the “Vyshka” YouTube project, which was created on the basis of the NASH YouTube channel after it was blocked and sanctioned by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
