How Kremlin is turning schoolchildren in the TOT into a mobilization reserve
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has instructed the Russian government to ensure that children taken from the so-called “svo” zone are admitted to educational organizations, including those that provide military training and preparation for “service in the Russian Cossacks.”
This order is presented as a manifestation of the Russian state’s “care” for children affected by the war. But in reality, it is part of a large-scale Kremlin campaign to militarize Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and to promote the ideas of the “Russian world” among children, loyalty to Putin and cultivate hatred for Ukraine.
For the Russian dictator, Ukrainian children serve only as a mobilization resource for future wars.
