Fake video allegedly from United24 Media
Russian propaganda outlets are spreading a video falsely attributed to the Ukrainian English-language media outlet United24 Media, claiming it shows women protesting in Kyiv to demand the abolition of “unofficial priority exchange lists for members of nationalist battalions.”
▫️ The video alleges that during the protest, the women chanted: “Our husbands are also defending Ukraine – give them the right to return home.”
In reality, United24 Media has confirmed to the Center that it did not produce or release such a video. This is yet another example of Russian propaganda fabricating stories to discredit the Ukrainian government and create the false impression of divisions within Ukrainian society.
