Fake Claims About “Crimes by Ukrainian Soldiers”

russian propaganda continues its campaign to discredit Ukrainian forces by spreading false claims about alleged criminal acts involving servicemen.

Enemy sources circulate fabricated media screenshots portraying ordinary criminal incidents as “crimes committed by AFU personnel.”

▫️One story claims that a “mobilized sergeant of the 47th OMBR of the AFU stabbed his comrade-in-arms.” In reality, official law enforcement reports only confirm a criminal incident between two men, with no evidence linking them to the AFU.

▫️Another fake alleges that a soldier from the 58th OMPBR of the AFU “opened fire in a residential building in Kharkiv.” The official report does not mention any military affiliation — russian propagandists deliberately distorted the story.

These fakes are created by altering headlines and twisting news content. Such disinformation is part of a systematic russian campaign aimed at discrediting the AFU, undermining trust in Ukrainian soldiers, and destabilizing Ukrainian society.
