How russia spreads propaganda worldwide through journalism training courses
The russian state-owned media company RT continues to spread kremlin propaganda around the world under the guise of training programs. The company has announced the launch of a new large-scale course for foreign journalists.
▫️The new educational program is held online in English, and according to the propagandists, media professionals from more than 50 countries are taking part. Special attention is given to representatives of Global South countries, as this region is currently a priority in russia’s foreign policy.
RT’s courses — yet another tool in russia’s information warfare. The goal of such educational initiatives —to draw foreign professionals into the russian media space. This will help build a network of journalists loyal to the kremlin, who will promote russian propaganda and justify russia’s actions to a broad audience in their home countries.
