Fake graffiti with V. Zelenskyy in London
russian Telegram channels have revived a fake story about non-existent graffiti in London. This false claim first emerged back in August of this year. Russian propagandists are once again spreading the fiction that graffiti under a bridge near Paul McCartney’s house depicts The Beatles, with Volodymyr Zelenskyy allegedly “stealing a wallet” from George Harrison.
First, there is no real evidence that such graffiti exists. Secondly, no reputable British publication has reported the existence of this image in London, and the photos are being shared primarily in the russian segment of social media and among pro-russian foreign audiences, further indicating that it is fake.
