Russia continues to spread lies about alleged Ukrainian strikes on its energy infrastructure
The aggressor state continues to spread false claims about alleged Ukrainian strikes on russia’s energy infrastructure. Almost daily, russia’s Ministry of Defense announces new supposed attacks by Ukraine on russian energy facilities.
▫️ The kremlin is also trying to influence foreign audiences by actively involving its diplomatic corps in spreading this propaganda. For instance, russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently published a statement listing fabricated attacks on russian oil, gas, and electricity enterprises.
General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine once again stated that these accusations are fake. The Defense Forces of Ukraine strictly adhere to agreements made with partners to halt strikes on energy infrastructure. All strikes target exclusively military objectives of the russian occupying forces.
▫️ At the same time, the General Staff emphasized numerous violations of these agreements by russia. In the last ten days of March, the aggressor repeatedly attacked energy facilities in Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.
