Ru-Propaganda Intensifies the Spread of Lies About Events in the Kursk Region
Ahead of the anniversary of active hostilities in kursk region, ru-propaganda has ramped up its disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting Ukrainian Defence Forces.
▫️The Center has recorded the active dissemination of disinformation narratives by russian propaganda outlets and officials, portraying the actions of the Defense Forces as a “treacherous invasion of russian territory by occupiers.”
Propagandists have also intensified the spread of typical fakes, including alleged mass shootings of civilians by Ukrainian troops and other crimes, drug use, the participation of foreign mercenaries, etc. As before, the propaganda materials contain no evidence.
The Center had previously predicted the intensification of this hostile campaign, which kremlin is using to justify the continuation of the war by distorting reality and portraying Ukraine as the aggressor and occupier. In reality, it is russia that bears full responsibility for initiating the war and committing numerous crimes against humanity in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
