Moldova closes Rossotrudnichestvo center

After the wreckage of a Russian UAV fell on the territory of Moldova, which was demonstrated to the Russian ambassador to the country, the authorities are closing the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Chisinau.

▫️ As already reported by the CCD, organizations subordinated to Rossotrudnichestvo are tools for conducting Russian information influence operations abroad under the guise of humanitarian and cultural projects. In Moldova, such attacks are carried out regularly to destabilize the situation in the region.

The systematic closure of Rossotrudnichestvo branches in Romania, Azerbaijan, and Moldova is another indication of Russia’s loss of influence in the post-Soviet space and Eastern Europe.
