How putin’s rhetoric reveals russia’s unwillingness to pursue peace
During a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission, russian dictator vladimir putin promised to ramp up drone production. He also called for accelerating the manufacturing of unmanned boats, laser systems, and “other advanced weaponry.”
Notably, these messages about strengthening the army in the long term are being voiced against the backdrop of so-called “peaceful” statements from russian officials.
With this kind of rhetoric, putin is attempting to pressure participants in negotiation processes while once again revealing the true intentions of the aggressor state. Russia has no intention of ending the war and is actively planning its continuation and the killing of Ukrainians.
