▫️ Pro-russian resources are spreading claims about the alleged “escape” of a Ukrainian counter-UAV specialist who was supposedly deployed to the Middle East. As “evidence,” they use a video stylized as a news report by the international broadcaster Al Jazeera.
n reality, this is a fake. No such materials or references to this incident exist on Al Jazeera’s official platforms. The video itself is entirely fabricated. The format of the forgery is typical of the russian disinformation network “Matryoshka.”
▫️ It is worth noting that the narrative behind this fake is not new. russian propaganda has repeatedly circulated false claims about the alleged “escape” of technical personnel from Ukrainian delegations. None of these cases have ever been confirmed. Such stories are regularly injected into the information space by russian propaganda under various pretexts.
The aim of this information operation is to undermine Ukraine’s reputation on the international stage and to sow distrust toward Ukrainian specialists involved in cooperation with foreign partners.
