CCD and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine expand the “kremlin Mouthpieces” section
The CCD of the NSDC, together with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, continues to identify russian propagandists.
▫️ A new list of russian propagandists has been published on the War&Sanctions portal under the section “kremlin mouthpieces.” It includes 16 individuals – russian war correspondents and propagandists who are involved in the information support of the war against Ukraine, report from combat zones, collect aid for russian military units in Ukraine, and encourage others to join their ranks.
In particular, the list includes:
▫️ oleksandr malkevych – one of the organizers of broadcasting in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, who acted in the interests of yevgeny prigozhin and the “wagner” PMC;
▫️ valentin gvozdev – war correspondent of russia’s “Channel One”;
▫️ oleksandr talipov – a former Ukrainian border guard who defected to russia in 2014, owner of the Telegram channel “Crimean SMERSH”;
▫️ oleksii zhyvov – a volunteer-propagandist who covers the activities of the russian unit “espanyola” and raises funds for it;
▫️ mykhailo zvinchuk – founder of the Telegram channel “Rybar.”
In addition, under the “Champions of Terror” section, the data of former Ukrainian athlete mykyta krylov have been published. He has repeatedly expressed support for the so-called “DPR” and “LPR,” holds russian citizenship, and competes under the russian flag.
The “kremlin mouthpieces” section on the War & Sanctions portal contains a list of russian propagandists and media managers who justify the war against Ukraine, spread hatred, and glorify war criminals. This section already includes information on 259 russian propagandists and continues to be updated.
‼️ We call for strengthened sanctions against kremlin propagandists and to make any cooperation with them impossible.
