Another Kremlin manipulation regarding the negotiations
kremlin is once again resorting to manipulation in an attempt to shift responsibility onto Ukraine for the lack of progress in the negotiation process.
▫️ russian presidential spokesperson dmitry peskov stated that “all sides must put pressure on Ukraine” to launch a new round of talks with russia. With such statements, kremlin repeats a worn-out propaganda narrative claiming that Ukraine is allegedly “disrupting the peace dialogue.”
In reality, this is yet another attempt to divert attention from russia’s daily attacks on Ukrainian cities and to blame the victim of aggression for the continuation of the war. russia is trying to mislead the international community by presenting itself as a party interested in peace, while falsely portraying Ukraine as the aggressor.
▫️ However, when it comes to real diplomacy, moscow shows no willingness to engage in meaningful dialogue. Instead, it continues to issue statements about “unchanging demands,” “denazification,” “root causes of the conflict,” and other fabricated preconditions.
kremlin is not seeking peace — it seeks to prolong the war. All calls to “pressure Ukraine” are not diplomacy but information manipulation aimed at undermining international support for Ukrainian resistance.
