AI videos on behalf of “migrants” in Ukraine
The Center has detected another wave of AI videos aimed at manipulating the situation around labor migration in Ukraine.
Videos from newly created accounts, masquerading as “personal blogs” of foreigners, are being spread online. In them, AI characters supposedly share their impressions of moving to Ukraine, show living conditions, and talk about their intentions to court Ukrainian women.
In reality, this content is entirely generated by artificial intelligence.
The purpose of such a campaign is to artificially provoke xenophobic sentiments, create social division, and stoke tensions within Ukrainian society.
The Center has previously detected similar fakes about migrants created by russian propaganda.
