Deputy Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Alina Alekseieva, participated in the “MIA Communication Forum 4.0: Information as an Element of National Resilience.”

The event, held on May 15 this year and organized with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission in Ukraine (EUAM), brought together around 200 specialists from all regions of the country. Participants exchanged experience, ideas, and best practices in communication coordination within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system under conditions of full-scale war.

A. Alekseieva highlighted the architecture of russian information influence and noted that countering disinformation, which has become an instrument of state policy, requires a systematic approach, coordination at the national and international levels, and continuous development of strategic communication tools.

She emphasized that strategic communications are now becoming a tool for shaping the “cognitive security” of society. One of the key tasks of the Center is to ensure coherence in state communications: in crisis situations, it is crucial that government bodies act in sync and deliver clear, consistent messages, which helps reduce information chaos and limit opportunities for manipulation.
