Forced mobilization in ТОТ of Luhansk: Russia is plundering local enterprises
Against the backdrop of a deteriorating economic situation in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, russia has intensified its campaign of forcibly conscripting workers from industrial enterprises into the war.
According to available information, enterprises are being “instructed” to mobilize between 25% and 50% of their workers. This practice is effectively undermining the region’s remaining economic base. Enterprises are losing staff, and production processes are being halted or scaled back.
It is also known that summonses are being issued to miners who have lost their jobs or been subject to layoffs. The relevant lists are being forwarded to military enlistment offices in advance. This indicates a deliberate policy where socially vulnerable groups are becoming the primary target of russian mobilization.
Despite all the propaganda statements about “concern” and promises of “prosperity,” russia is not even attempting to provide people in the temporarily occupied territories with jobs and decent living conditions, but is simply using them as a resource to compensate for its army’s losses in the war against Ukraine.
