The Center for Countering Disinformation (hereinafter – the Center) during its monitoring of the information space identified a number of publications that use the hashtag #покровская_воронка (#pokrovsk_sinkhole) and show signs of a coordinated information campaign. Given this, the Center conducted an in-depth analysis of these publications.

Methodology of analysis:

• Chronological and content analysis were used.
• Research period: September 27, to November 6, 2025.
• Data collection and systematisation were carried out using the Osavul software with the following parameters: 
  • Keywords: «#покровская_воронка», «покровская_воронка», «покровская воронка» and «покровська воронка». 
  • Date range: 27 September to 6 November 2025.  
  • Languages: Ukrainian, russian.
  • Platforms: Telegram, X, Facebook, Web, VK, YouTube, TikTok.
• Additionally, manual monitoring of the information space was conducted to verify the results of the automated analysis.

As a result of the conducted analysis, the Center has drawn the following conclusions:

• Publications with the hashtag #покровская_воронка are part of a hostile information campaign under the same name «Pokrovsk Sinkhole».
• The first post within this campaign was published on September 27, 2025 by the Telegram channel «Легитимный», which is part of a russian network that mimics Ukrainian information resources^[1]. According to the Security Service of Ukraine, this network is linked to the 85th main center of the special service of the general staff of the armed forces of the russian federation.
