He also claimed that “the Ukrainian Armed Forces are already using biopathogens in combat operations.”
These fakes are part of a typical russian disinformation campaign aimed at the global audience. russian propaganda has been spreading similar lies since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The new references to biopathogens should be viewed in the context of Shoigu’s recent threats of World War III.
The purpose of these statements is to intimidate citizens of foreign countries, especially those considering deploying peacekeeping contingents in Ukraine, with the threat of biological weapons and their uncontrolled spread to reduce international support for Ukraine.
