New Instagram scam scheme involving offensive comments
An unknown account leaves aggressive comments under users’ posts on the social media platform, and in the description of its private profile, it includes a link — allegedly to a Telegram channel or another resource with “additional information” about the user.
Clicking the link redirects users to a phishing page. As a result, attackers gain full access to victims’ personal data: logins, passwords, phone numbers, and other personal information.
Do not click on suspicious links, even if they appear to belong to social media or trusted platforms. Block accounts that leave such comments, and never enter your personal information on third-party websites.
