War criminals are the new elite of Russia: Boris Dudko
Boris Dudko is a Russian serviceman from Bashkortostan, possibly involved in the occupation of the Kyiv region during the initial stages of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
He received a military education and joined the Russian army in 2011, serving in the 76th Guards Air Assault Division (Pskov). In 2020, he traveled to Syria twice and was awarded the Suvorov Medal.
Dudko participated in Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine from the outset of the full-scale invasion. He served as the deputy commander of the 124th Separate Tank Battalion of the 76th Division of Russian army. Members of this division have been accused in Ukraine of committing atrocities against civilians during the occupation of Bucha.
In December 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Dudko the title of Hero of Russia. On May 9, 2023, Dudko stood alongside Putin at the Victory Day parade on Red Square.
Currently, Dudko is a finalist in the “Time of Heroes” program, which the Kremlin promotes as a training ground for “Russia’s new elite.” He is now interning with state authorities in Bashkortostan.
