Fake about Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly preparing to deploy chemical weapons
Enemy TG channels are spreading claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are allegedly preparing to use chemical weapons.
Additionally, russian propagandists are once again pushing a fake that Ukraine is supposedly developing a “dirty bomb.”
These claims are entirely false. First, Ukraine is a signatory to the Chemical Weapons Convention and strictly adheres to its international obligations. Second, as usual, the russians provide no evidence to support their accusations.
Moreover, it’s actually russian z-war correspondents who occasionally share videos showing russian forces using chemical weapons against Ukrainian positions, which is a war crime and a blatant violation of the laws of war.
By spreading the “dirty bomb” fake, kremlin-controlled media are trying to discredit Ukraine in the eyes of the international community, but these efforts are bound to fail.
According to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the CCD and an officer of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, russia’s accusations against the Ukrainian Armed Forces could be a cover for a russian provocation or terrorist act that moscow plans to blame on Ukraine.
