How russia manipulates the opinion of the residents of the TOT through news about “reconstruction”
russian propaganda is broadcasting news about repairing medical facilities in the occupied areas of Ukraine, making it seem like they’re looking out for the locals. But truth is, they’re using the healthcare system to keep a tight grip on the residents in TOT.
▫️ The russian minister of health, mikhail murashko, claimed that over 200 medical facilities have been rebuilt and repaired in TOT. Yet, he conveniently overlooks the fact that these institutions were destroyed as a result of russian aggression against Ukraine.
Despite russia’s persistent efforts to portray a positive image of the occupation, residents of TOT often face violations of their right to healthcare. This is primarily due to overcrowded hospitals, prioritizing assistance and medications for wounded occupiers.
