The kremlin is trying to justify crimes against children by accusing Ukraine
russian propaganda outlets are actively spreading reports from a meeting of the so-called “parliamentary commission to investigate crimes against minors by the Kyiv regime.”
russian officials are baselessly accusing Ukraine of “kidnapping Donbas children,” claiming they are taken abroad where they might supposedly “fall into slavery” and be subjected to other crimes against children.
In this way, moscow is shamelessly attempting to deflect responsibility for its own crimes in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine onto the Ukrainian side. However, it was russia that perpetrated the crimes against children, and there exists ample evidence to support this fact.
Back in March last year, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for russian dictator putin and russian children’s rights commissioner maria lvova-belova on charges related to the illegal deportation of individuals and children from Ukraine to russia.
