In general, the essence of the psychological “halo effect” can be expressed in two statements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 “next to each other means together”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 “if a person is effective in one field, he or she will be the same in another”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An example of how russian propagandists use the “halo effect”:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 glorification of the “feat” of one of the occupation forces soldiers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 identifying the “feat” of one soldier with the “feat” of the entire unit<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 extending the effect of the unit’s “feat” to the entire invading army<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 creating a false logical construction: “a heroic warrior is an effective army”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
